Each clan has a specific set of skills and their character compliments a particular type of gameplay. The Venture clan is all about power and ambition while the Brujah clan relies on brute strength and passion. Players can also choose a character from the Nosferatu clan that is best for the spymasters at heart or the Toreador clan that lures unsuspecting victims with their beauty. Players get to choose from seven characters in the game. These are The Brute, The Enforcer, The Prowler, The Siren, The Vandal, The Saboteur, and The Muse. In this Tier List, we will discuss what each of these archetypes brings to the table.
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt Best Archetype Tier List
The seven characters in the game belong to one of the four clans in the game. This massively affects the type of character a player would get. As we explained above, each clan values certain traits over others and players must keep this in mind before making their minds up. With that being said, let us dive right into the Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt Tier List where we rank the Archetype from best to worse for use. A player’s preference is a big part of the selection process though and players should choose the character they feel is best suited for them.
S-Tier
These are the best characters that players can pick up in the game. Players will quickly dominate the night with these characters.
Brute
Clan: Brujah This brutal character is ideal for player’s going for an offensive play style. While unrelentingly aggressive in their approach, the Brute is surprisingly well adapted for defense as well. Their Archetype Power is the Shockwave Punch that can deflect bullets and give players some breathing room. Moreover, the passive power of the Brute allows them to get half of their health back when not taking damage. Combine this with the hard hitting style of the this character and players have a well-balanced winner on their hands.
Vandal
Clan: Brujah It speaks to the Brujah Clan’s excellence that both its Archetype are in the top tier of this Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt tier list. However, just because they are from the same clan does not mean the Brute and the Vandal are identical. While the Brute balances out its damage attacks with defensive powers, the Vandal is all out offense. Their Archetype Power allows them to crash land upon the ground and cause damage to the any enemies unfortunate enough to be in range. This is a great character to have for close range combat as they gain damage resistance when up close with their enemies.
Prowler
Clan: Nosferatu Miles apart from the Hunter and the Vandal, the Prowler is all about stealth and massive damage. This character will strike out of nowhere, take down the enemy and merge back into the shadows. If this reminds players of certain Bat vigilante, they are not far off in their estimation. In fact, the Prowler’s Archetype power is Scouting Famulus which allows them to send bats to scout ahead for them and even reveal enemies behind walls. If that is not enough to sell players on the Prowler, their Clan power allows them to literally become invisible for a brief period of time. This is quite handy if players want to make an escape or carry out a stealth attack. Focused on the hunt, the Prowler can even sense severely wounded enemies through their Passive power, Sense The Beast.
A-Tier
While not as dominant as the S-Tier, these characters can certainly rack up the power play when needed.
Siren
Clan: Toreador This character is all about weaponized beauty. They are a great for players that favor illusive play rather than all out brawl. Players can use this character to manipulate and demolish opponents on the sly. The Siren character is the epitome of stabbing in the back. Their Passive power allows them to manipulate civilians to act friendly towards them as well as their team, making them easy pickings. This is why the Siren is a solid A-Tier Archetype on this Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt Tier List. However, that is not all this Archetype can do. Their Archetype power allows them to erupt in pure beauty, causing opponents to go blind and sustain damage. This can be used as an offensive tactic as well as a distraction to get out of a bind fast. Players can combine this ability with their Clan power which allows the Siren to send out a projection of themselves and then materialize to the spot.
B-Tier
These might not be the best Archetype to use in the game but they can give out good to decent performance depending on the player controlling them.
Enforcer
Clan: Ventrue The only Archetype from the Venture class, the Enforcer is a bit of a mixed bag. There is nothing out rightly wrong with them but they just do not meet the power quotient of Archetypes from S or A Tier. They do have some useful powers like their Clan power Flesh of Marble which allows them to become invulnerable for a brief duration. However, this power can only be implemented as long as the Enforcer is not attacking opponents. The Passive power of the Enforcer allows them to slow down the movement speed of enemies while also altering them of enemy presence nearby. Moreover, the Enforcer can also use their Archetype power to deal moderate damage and render their enemy incapable of using their vampiric powers.
C-Tier
When searching for the best Archetype in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt, this is not the tier players want to be looking at.
Saboteur
Clan: Nosferatu The second stealthy Archetype from the Nosferatu clan is not the best to use. While the Prowler balances out the offence and defense perfectly, the Saboteur is a little off kilter. Both their Passive and Clan powers are defensive and nearly similar. Saboteur’s Passive power allows them to become semi-invisible when crouching while their Clan power allows them to vanish entirely and move at a rapid pace. For offense, the Saboteur can break out their Archetype power and throw toxic gas bombs at their opponent.
Muse
Clan: Toreador The Muse Archetype just melts into the background when looking at the best Archetype in Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt. They don’t have any redeeming qualities to make them stand out from the crowd. Unlike their counterpart Siren, the Muse has powers that cement it as only a Support class Archetype and not a great one at that. Their Passive power can refresh cooldowns and enable the use of powers when downed. This ability might have been good if it didn’t solely rely on the player being downed. In addition, the Muse can also project themselves and dash to the point. However, with no offensive skills, this becomes more of a escape strategy rather than a means for stealthy attack. The only useful power the Muse has is their Archetype power which allows them to enter a healing state that can restore health for them and their allies. However, this power is also limited by the fact that it cannot be used while attacking or while under attack. This is our Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunt Best Archetype Tier List.
